Upland Training Days

When and Where:

Upland Training Days are typically held at the GPLRC Training Grounds the last Sunday of every month from September to February.  Dates are always subject to change so be sure to check with the club each month.

How to attend:

Upland training days are open to members and guests. We kindly ask that guests limit their entries to two dogs. GPLRC maintains the right to restrict any  guest from shooting if deemed to be safety hazard.

Live birds are used for upland training days. These can be pheasants, chukars, or both depending upon availability.  You MUST PRE-REGISTER if you intend on running your dogs on any birds and are responsible for the cost of the birds that you order. No pre-registration is necessary if you are just observing, etc.  Registration tyically closes a week before the training day so that birds can be ordered with the supplier.

These days are ideal for beginning handlers and young dogs as well as those that are more experienced. All are welcome to attend, so come check it out!
